Take the Power Back

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7

It’s easy to feel like life is just "happening" to us—like we’re just reacting to the weather, the economy, or other people’s choices. But that’s a lie that keeps us small. You aren't a spectator in your own life; you’re the lead. God doesn't just want to "fix" your circumstances; He wants to give you the strength to outgrow them. When you stop saying "I can't" because of your past or your current struggle, and start saying "I will" because of the Power in you, the atmosphere shifts. You have the authority to change your routine, your mindset, and your environment. Don't wait for a door to open when you’ve been given the keys to unlock it yourself.

Identify one part of your life that feels "stuck." Instead of complaining about it today, take one concrete action—no matter how small—to shift it. Make the call, set the boundary, or start the project. Remind yourself: "I am not a victim of my circumstances; I am a steward of my choices."
